Manchester United will be desperate to return to winning ways as they host Southampton in the Premier League on Tuesday night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are winless in their last two league matches and know an improved performance is required if they are to keep their title hopes alive.
Southampton have lost on just two of their last seven visits to Old Trafford while United have lost four of their home games so far this season (W4 D2 L4) – the third highest numbers of losses they have ever suffered in a single Premier League campaign.
Scott McTominay is set to be fit after stomach complaints forced him off early against Southampton. That should give him the advantage ahead of Fred in midfield and Paul Pogba can play alongside the Scot in a deeper role.
Edinson Cavani missed two excellent chances at Arsenal but should lead the line again, with Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood either side of him.

Southampton signed Takumi Minamino from Liverpool on loan for the remainder of the season in a deadline day coup for the club but he cannot debut here. Shane Long joined Bournemouth as a result.
Kyle Walker-Peters’ quad injury isn’t as bad as first feared but Tuesday’s trip to Old Trafford will come too soon. Having loaned Yan Valery to Birmingham on deadline day, James Ward-Prowse will have to continue at right-back here.
Centre-back duo Jannik Vestergaard and Mohammed Salisu are one or two weeks out from a return. Michael Obafemi, Will Smallbone and Nathan Tella are also still ruled out.
Oriol Romeu and Ibrahima Diallo are both big doubts for the away side after limping off against Aston Villa last time out, leaving them potentially very short in central midfield. 19-year-old Alexandre Jankewitz could make a full Premier League debut as a result.
Theo Walcott came off with a hamstring injury against Aston Villa and is expected to miss out here too.

Manchester United are expected to terminate Marcos Rojo’s contract soon, while Facundo Pellistri is set for a loan move to Alaves.
That leaves Phil Jones and Scott McTominay as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s only injury concerns for the welcome of Southampton, with the latter forced off in the first half of the 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood may come in for McTominay and Edinson Cavani, and that would see Paul Pogba drop into midfield.
